What’s your referral policy?

We will pay you $10 for each good cook that we decide to add to our registry and $100 for each candidate successfully placed and paid. 1% of first years base salary for sous chef and executive chef  placements.

How do you rate your Candidates?

We thoroughly evaluate all candidates on our registry and sort them into one of five categories based on a number of factors including work history, references, skill evaluation, and our own interview process.  We determine the primary goals, interests, and motivations for each cook so we can match them to jobs that suit their needs.

What does it cost ?
  • Level 1 cooks: entry-level  $350/placement
  • Level 2 cooks: capable of working the hot-line $500/placement
  • Level 3 cooks: capable of developing into sous chef.  Capable of working all line positions.  Top caliber restaurant experience with excellent references.  $750/placement
  • Sous Chef chef placement fee is 10of first years base salary
  • Executive Chef  placement fee is 10% of first years base salary

 

Do you guarantee your placement?

All our line cook and chef placements are guaranteed for 30 days, 60 days for sous chef and 90 for executive chefs. If the cook/chef decides to leave or the client decides to terminate employment within 30/60/90 days, we will provide either a full refund or a replacement depending on the client’s wishes.  After 30/60/90 of employment, the placement is non-refundable, nor will we be obligated to offer a replacement free of charge.

How many candidates will you send us for a job?

As many as it takes until the position is properly filled.

How Long Have You Been In Business?

In Los Angeles we are beginning this year, 2015.  This business is actually a continuation of a placement agency from San Francisco called Top Of The Line Cooks.  We have relocated to Los Angeles because of the excellent opportunities in this expanding and improving restaurant scene.
