The Line Restaurant Talent Agency are looking experienced and talented Sous Chef for a new restaurant opening in Malibu. Must have experience working in high end restaurants or hotels. Offering competitive salary and great benefits package.
Talented Sous Chef Who Has:
- Experience managing high volume operations and overseeing execution
- Proven track record of good longevity in past positions
- Has the ability to lead staff and manage the kitchen
- Have a background working in restaurants with strong systems
Same place in Malibu are looking for a strong opening team for this incredibly beautiful new restaurant right on the pacific ocean. Competitive pay with benefits $13-16 an hour DOE
Must be able to
- Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service
- Heat, sauce or grill menu items
- Answer, report and follow chef’s instructions
- **Clean up station thoroughly and take care of leftover food – label, date + put in walk in fridge.
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Read tickets properly and make sure substitutions are made and sides are correct.
- Ensure that takeout orders are correct and packaged appropriately.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
